All registered event delegates are sent a personal link to the online feedback survey. Everyone that completes the feedback survey is issued with a certificate bearing external CPD points after the survey closes (typically 28 days post-event). Certificates can be used as evidence in the ePortfolio.
Past events - RCPE Members
Certificates are available on the Education Portal when talks from a past event are viewed in full, which can be used as evidence in the ePortfolio.
In late 2024, based on feedback from our Trainees and Members' Committee, we implemented certificates which populate with the talk(s) you have viewed; in the past the full event had to be watched to be awarded a certificate. We hope this is more helpful when evidencing learning and professional development in your ePortfolio.
Search content
You can search our talks, RCPE Advance content, podcasts (including Clinical Conversations, Career Conversations, and recent Physicians' Gallery episodes), and select JRCPE articles.
The searchable table filters as you type your search term (such as medical presentation, speaker name, event title), with comprehensive keywords working behind the scenes.
On specialty tag pages, the side panel provides curated JRCPE (College Journal) articles.
Vimeo player
We host our talk videos on Vimeo. The Vimeo player brings various useful features:
Closed captions (CC), also known as subtitles, to read as you listen
A searchable transcript, where you can jump to the relevant section of the talk based on your search term
Change the quality, to better suit your bandwidth/connection
Change the speed, to better suit your preferred playback speed
Picture-in-Picture, to multitask (keep a thumbnail player visible when working in a different window/programme)
Fullscreen, to maximise the player
Dashboard
Visit your Dashboard where you can star ('favourite') your preferred events and e-learning content, and find content you have recently accessed.
Glossary
Explore our glossary of terminology, which may be particularly helpful to doctors new to the NHS. Additional useful links, such as to relevant guidelines, are provided.
