Professor Mahmood Adil is a former Medical Director (Public Health Scotland), National Executive for Quality & Innovation (Department of Health, England) & Medical Director to establish Care Quality Commission (Englandβs National Health & Social care Regulator) with comprehensive data intelligence for its regulatory system. In 2021, H E Minister of Health (Qatar) appointed him national advisor to excel and transform healthcare in Qatar.
He has vast experience of developing national health data, intelligence, digital and informatics capabilities to deliver effective care in numerous countries. He has postgraduate qualifications in medicine, public health, health informatics, paediatrics, economics, management, and corporate governance fields. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School, Institute of Healthcare Improvement (USA), Yale School of Public Health and European Hospital & Healthcare Federation.
